Elexon load research

Elexon have announced that the next lamp types will subject to load research during 2012:

• SON 50W
• SON 100W
• SON 400W
• SOX 180W
• SOX-E 131W
• 150W CDM-T TT ET

The final selection of lamps will be determined by achieving the required sample size.
The monitoring period for these lamps will be approximately 3 months, however there will also be time required to install the equipment and analyse the results. Any revisions to circuit wattages are likely to apply within the next financial year. While, in theory, wattages may go down as well as up, it may be worth considering how many of these lamps are in each customers' inventory.
