PDA customers install 500,000 CMS units

Central Management Systems (CMS) have been around for a number of years now. Over recent years however the scale of the CMS roll-out across Great Britain has increased from small scale trials to full implementation in some lighting authorities. PDA is pleased to announce that we are now processing data from well over 500,000 street lights connected to a CMS and the dynamic data is actively used to calculate the customers energy billing. Our customers are benefiting from the flexibility that trimming, dimming and part night switch off that CMS systems enable.

As the leading Meter Administrator we have more experience of working with CMS systems than anyone else. We have also assisted all of the current ELEXON approved CMS systems with their ELEXON approval so understand the different systems available on the market.
