24 hour charity swim

On 2nd / 3rd May this year James Everley will be attempting to swim 24 miles in 24 hours raising money for Tommy’s the baby charity. This is part of the 2Swim4Life event held at Guildford Lido.

The challenge involves swimming one mile each hour, for 24 consecutive hours. If it takes 30 minutes to swim a mile, you would then have 30 minutes rest before the next mile starts. Dealing with the cold and fatigue are just two of the challenges he’ll face. We wish him every success.
