Power Data Associates working with TfL and Harvard

PDA are happy to announce that we are working closely with Transport for London and their chosen CMS partner Harvard with ambitious plan to reduce their energy consumption by up to 40%. TfL plan to deploy the Harvard Leafnut System across some 35,000 of their 52,000 street lights, making it the largest single deployment of CMS in London. This is being done as part of a new energy efficient lighting programme, which includes the installation of many new LED lighting systems. PDA will be processing the data directly from the Leafnut system ensuring that the energy savings are realised and that the inventory and energy bill are accurate.

The programme aims to reduce carbon emissions in the future by approximately 9,700 tonnes a year and contribute to energy cost savings of £1.85 million a year by the time the system is fully implemented in 2016. Energy consumption is expected to be reduced by up to 40% compared to current levels.
