PDA welcomes Nottingham City PFI – October 2011 saw the Scottish & Southern Energy PFI partnership with Nottingham City Council appoint Power Data Associates as their Meter Administrator. One of the key reasons for our appointment was PDA’s proven track record of working with large CMS installations and the value added benefits of our customer reporting and operational assistance. As part of the PFI SSE will be installing 30,000+ Mayflower CMS units.
PDA presents at Charles Endirect technical seminars – October 2011 saw PDA present at several Charles Endirect technical seminars around the country. These seminars aimed to promote the new technologies available to customers from Charles Endirect and PDA provided details on how customers could achieve the financial savings by utilising the new ELEXON codes.
ILP Journal publishes PDA article – September 2011 saw a PDA article on current industry news published in the ILP Journal. In the article PDA provided an update on the latest news from the ELEXON USMUG meetings as well as an update the Carbon Reduction Commitment. Scottish & Southern Energy leaves Meter Administrator Market – June 2011 saw Scottish & Southern Energy exit the Meter Administrator market. As part of the withdrawal Power Data Associates is pleased to welcome the bulk of these customers who chose to appoint PDA as their Meter Administrator.
PDA present to ILP Northern Region (Halifax) – May 2011 saw PDA present to the ILP Northern Region. The presentation focussed on answering questions relating to passive Half Hourly and how exactly it works when compared to Dynamic Half Hourly.
PDA welcomes first Welsh customers and continues to expand customer base – April 2011 saw Power Data Associates continue to expand its customer base, notably into North Wales and also across Scotland, building on the success from the first customers who switched last year. PDA welcomes its new customers and is now firmly in place as the largest Meter Administrator in Great Britain, operating across England, Scotland and Wales, offering high levels of customer service, market knowledge and experience.
PDA present at APSE (Scotland) – March 2011, PDA was invited to present a paper on unmetered energy issues to APSE. The paper focussed on the potential monetary savings from Half Hourly trading and followed up the pending move of most large Scottish authorities over to Half Hourly in April 2011. Carbon Reduction Commitment guidance note – January 2011 Power Data Associates in conjunction with the London Energy Project have published guidance to reflect the latest changes to the Carbon Reduction Commitment. As an interim measure all local authorities, where allowed to by their Distribution Business, should consider a switch from Dynamic to Passive Half Hourly trading.
